Manta Fest Contest Rules

You may enter up to 3 images in each of the categories.

You may enter up to 3 videos.

Images - both the original and the edited version of each image submitted in the competition - need to be placed on a thumb drive in the proper category folder. Edited images will be disqualified if the original image is not also submitted. The thumb drives have four folders, one for each category. All entries must follow the provided naming format. All entries must be turned in via provided USB drives at 8am on the 6th of September, 2019. No exceptions. The thumb drives can be left at the front desk of the hotel or given to a judge. The thumb drives will be available to be returned to you after the Awards Ceremony.

As a point of clarification, the photography competition at Manta Fest is intended to promote and judge the ability of photographers to create images in the water. We allow the unlimited use of post-capture image manipulating software (i.e. Photoshop), but the judges will use the original in-water capture as a significant factor when scoring images.

Final Edited Images must be in a high resolution jpg format. Original file may be RAW or JPG.

Prizes will be awarded for each category in both camera types. (DSLR and Non-DSLR)

Judges decisions are final.
